- 1 carrot, sliced
- 1 (15 ounces) can kidney beans
- 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 1/2 cup corn kernels
- 2 cups salsa
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup dried breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- salt (to taste)
- 1 pinch chili powder
First, place a carrot into boiling water, cooking thoroughly until tender.
Next, mash the beans and tender carrot together in a large bowl.
Afterward, mix in the green pepper, onion, salsa, bread crumbs, and the whole wheat flour.
Crucially, season with salt, black pepper, and chili powder.
As well, add more flour to create a firmer mixture, or more salsa if the mixture is too stiff.
